THE EVENTS AT THE WELLINGTON TUNNELS

THE DAWN CEREMONY

Since the Wellington Tunnels first opened, every year on 9 April, the Arras Tourist Office organises a Dawn Ceremony, starting at the precise time at which the Battle of Arras was launched.

At 6.30am, e commemorative ceremony honours the British soldiers and Commonwealth troops who fought during the Battle of Arras. Open to all, this international ceremony keeps us in mind of the courage of those men and is a way of honouring their memory together.

GROUP ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN

Only in French

During school breaks, the tourist office offers themed  group activities for children.
During All Saints holiday, children between 8 and 12 year old can take part in the activity.
