Underground Breakfast, le petit-déjeuner à l’anglaise à 20m sous-terre

Do not miss the English breakfast 20 metres underground. It's a unique experience, with the privilege of a meal in the Wellington tunnels, surrounded by the graffiti of soldiers from the Great War.

Breakfast in a British atmosphere

I.Pilarowski/Carrière Wellington

It's really an experience to enjoy breakfast 20 metres underground! Take a guided tour of the Wellington tunnels and conclude with an English-style breakfast prepared by chef Gabriel Asseman from the restaurant ‘L'œuf ou la poule’ in Arras. On the menu: tea or coffee, orange juice, Beans*, bacon, porridge**, pancakes and orange marmalade. A breakfast 'so British', in the atmosphere of the Wellington Tunnels, (almost) at the time when the Battle of Arras was launched on 9 April 1917. A unique experience to share with friends or family.

*White beans cooked in a tomato-based sauce.

**Cereal porridge

Due to construction work in the Wellington Tunnels park, the car park will be closed this Friday 11/09. Parking is free on the surrounding streets and at the Jean-Jaurès car park. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
